Mulled wine, chilly temperatures, and the Toronto Christmas Market definitely put us in the (slightly premature) Christmas spirit this weekend!

In an effort to explore a new neighbourhood in the city and find some good places to eat, this Saturday we decided to go on a culinary tour of the Danforth! Much tasty food was had.
On Saturday we finally got around to trying our hand at making our own Sushi. Since we’re such big fans of the stuff, it seemed to make sense to at least have a go! Here’s how it went...
Saturday was Elizabeth’s birthday, so we celebrated by spending the weekend with friends and family at the cabin on Ocean Pond. Amidst the water skiing, sun bathing, board games, and cocktail drinking, we also managed a short trip to the nearby Rodrigues Winery and Distillery.
This Saturday we headed to the nearby Quidi Vidi Brewery for a tour and some beer tasting.
This weekend we headed out of town with a few friends to enjoy the sunny weather and a picnic by the sea!
On Saturday we learned about urban gardening and enjoyed a fresh homemade meal at the 7th annual FEASt Fest!
The last three days of our road trip around the Yucatán Peninsula were spent at the southern end of the Riviera Maya, in Tulum. We enjoyed snorkeling, exploring more Maya ruins, climbing up a shaky wooden structure in a biosphere reserve, and an afternoon of relaxing at the beach.
On Thursday night, we filled our bellies (and livers) at the 8th annual Savour Food and Wine Show at the Delta Hotel!
Amidst a weekend full of curling, we managed to squeeze in an afternoon of wandering around downtown which included finally eating at Sun Sushi!
