This weekend we headed out of town with Elizabeth's parents to take in the sights and sounds of Lewisporte, and (relatively) nearby Twillingate, in Central Newfoundland!
On Saturday we headed out of town for a camping adventure with our friends, in Terra Nova National Park!
A massive issue at the airport prevented us from going on our much anticipated trip to Mexico and left us wondering what to do this weekend. In the end, we packed up our bags and drove a couple of hours to Swift Current for a relaxing getaway.
On Saturday morning, we picked up snowshoes (and Maebe) from Elizabeth’s parents and headed out for a snowshoeing adventure on the trails around Windsor Lake!
On Sunday we finally tried out Geocaching! We started our Geocaching adventures at Long Pond, but finding the Geocaches turned out to be much harder than we expected…
Last Monday was the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday and we spent it hiking the East Coast Trail from Pouch Cove to Stiles Cove with Elizabeth's family! The 5 hour hike took us along picturesque coastline, through wooded areas, and on top of dramatic cliffs.
Friday in San Francisco began with a tour to Muir Woods, and ended in a Detective Agency. Needless to say, another full day!
On Wednesday we headed out of San Francisco once more on an epic day trip to Yosemite National Park.
This past weekend we spent 24 hours camping in La Manche Provincial Park - hiking during the day, cooking over a campfire in the evening, making up drinking games, hiking again during the night, and just enjoying ourselves in general!
Over the weekend, we explored the St. John’s area with Luke’s parents and checked out a few places we’d never visited before including the Queen’s Battery, Fort Amherst, and the Ocean Sciences Centre!
We're Elizabeth and Luke.
