Who are we?
We're Elizabeth and Luke. Elizabeth is originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada and Luke is from Bath, UK. We met while both working in the Netherlands in Winter 2012, and have been attached at the hip ever since.
We lived in St. John's for almost 3 years before moving to Toronto in Fall 2015. We're always up for an adventure, love travelling, and are planning to explore the world - one Saturday at a time!
We don't update the blog regularly as of January 2018, however we continue to update our travel videos with our ongoing travels.

What are Something Saturdays?
While we were living in Leiden, The Netherlands, we decided to make an effort every weekend to do something new or different. Either go somewhere new, eat something new, or do something that at least one of us hadn't done before. We decided to call them "Something Saturdays" - although we have been known to hold our Something Saturdays on Sundays.
The rules aren't hard and fast, but the point is to make use of every weekend and try something new!

Past Something Saturdays
We officially started our Something Saturdays in September 2012, while living in Leiden. Because there are so many cities in the Netherlands that are close together, it was easy to find new communities to visit and explore.
