In case you missed the news, we moved to Toronto last week! So this past Saturday we moved into out new place and it has been non-stop (mostly good) chaos ever since!
On Saturday we learned about urban gardening and enjoyed a fresh homemade meal at the 7th annual FEASt Fest!
On Wednesday evening, we dropped in on a cooking class and learned how to make some Indian dishes which we tested out on Saturday!
This past weekend we spent some time learning about ice fishing, as well as practicing the traditional Newfoundland craft of making pillow tops.
We spent our Friday night making and trying out some new cocktails, and then on Saturday we put together a video of our recent travels around England!
On Sunday we made Luke’s childhood Christmas dreams come true by putting together and decorating a gingerbread house! We were also hoping to participate in the Mummer’s Parade again this year, but Elizabeth was busy with other activities on Saturday.
This past Saturday we went to the Victoria Park Lantern Festival; we made lanterns in the afternoon and then went back in the evening for the festivities!
This past Saturday we attended a Wilderness Survival course and learned quite a few new skills! But knowing what we know now, we're not interested in surviving in the wild anytime soon, if we have anything to say about it.
On Saturday we decided, at the last minute, to take an Introduction to Felting course at the Anna Templeton Centre. We had no idea what felting was before we started, but we learned a lot about the process and made some felt!
