This past Saturday we went to the Victoria Park Lantern Festival; we made lanterns in the afternoon and then went back in the evening for the festivities!

After work last Friday, we hopped on a plane and took the 45 minute flight to Saint Pierre et Miquelon, France!  The town of Saint Pierre in the background This past weekend we ventured to Placentia to explore the 17th century former French fortifications at Castle Hill!

On Saturday we checked out the Afghan Restaurant downtown before going to a concert that was part of the St. John's International Sound Symposium!

This past weekend was Luke’s parents’ last weekend in Newfoundland, so we took them to Bay Roberts and Brigus on Saturday before spending the rest of the weekend at the cabin!
