This weekend, amidst the cold, the snow and the Christmas parties, we set off along a new extension to Toronto's subway system to step back in time at the Black Creek Pioneer Village.

After a week away in the UK we decided to ease ourselves back into Toronto life with another Subway Saturday. This time we set out west on Bloor Street to Ossington Station for a spot of leisurely wandering in the sun.
This past Saturday we decided to do a sort-of Subway Saturday slightly off the subway line and visited the neighbourhood of The Junction in the west of Toronto.
This weekend Luke was pretty busy representing Holland Bloorview at the Capital One Gift The Code Hackathon, but we still managed to get in a few hours of exploring another neighbourhood of Toronto. This time, we set out to Christie Station to visit Korea Town, where we enjoyed some tasty lunch, and toilet-themed desserts.
This past weekend we thought we'd continue the Subway Saturday tradition by visiting a station that Luke stops at almost every week day but has never wandered around - Eglinton!
This week we decided to try something a little different with our Saturday. In an effort to set out and explore the many random neighbourhoods of Toronto, we decided to start a whole new thing with Subway Saturdays…
