After our big trip to Australia and a busy weekend of holiday festivities, we decided to take it easy and opted for a vegan brunch for our Something Saturday this week.

Last Sunday we took it easy and headed to the Princess of Wales Theatre, with Aunt VIcki, for a matinee performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
Last Saturday during the heat wave we headed out to Tommy Thompson Park, 'Toronto's Urban Wilderness', for an afternoon of exploring and admiring the views.
After a week away in the UK we decided to ease ourselves back into Toronto life with another Subway Saturday. This time we set out west on Bloor Street to Ossington Station for a spot of leisurely wandering in the sun.
This Sunday we worked up a thirst and made our way down to the Steamwhistle Roundhouse for the Craft Beer Festival.
This weekend Peter, Emily and their friends were visiting from Montreal and Ottawa. We decided to make the most of the sun, and spent all weekend exploring the city and checking out a few of the events that were taking place.
This past weekend we joined in on the month-long Maker Festival and headed to their Maker Extravaganza at the Toronto Reference Library!
To celebrate the long Canada Day weekend - and Canada's 150th birthday - we decided to set forth and explore a little bit more of the gigantic province that we live in, making our way up to Northern Ontario and Sault Ste. Marie.
Last Saturday, Elizabeth was supposed to be participating in a work golf tournament so when the tournament was cancelled due to rainfall from the day before, we knew we wanted to spend our day exploring instead. So, after a bit of Googling, Moore Park Ravine it was!
The street festivals of Toronto continued this weekend, as College Street was overtaken by the Taste of Little Italy. We walked down to taste it for ourselves.
