On Sunday we trudged through bogs and forests in search of treats as part of the St. John's Orienteering Club's Halloween Trick or Treat Meet!

Last Saturday we attended a film screening as part of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, and then had a mid-afternoon meal at International Flavours!  Waiting for the film to start Last Monday was the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday and we spent it hiking the East Coast Trail from Pouch Cove to Stiles Cove with Elizabeth's family! The 5 hour hike took us along picturesque coastline, through wooded areas, and on top of dramatic cliffs.  The beginning of the Stiles Cove Trail in Pouch Cove On Saturday evening, we decided to check out one of the events of the Annual St. John's Storytelling Festival - Six Minute Saturday!

What was initially planned as a fairly chilled out final day in San Francisco turned out to be a surprisingly full one, as we travelled the city on a bit of a foodie adventure.

Friday in San Francisco began with a tour to Muir Woods, and ended in a Detective Agency. Needless to say, another full day!  Muir Woods On Thursday we checked out the Asian Art Museum, got a feel for more of the city by taking a Hop-on Hop-off tour, and found the best place to see the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!  Golden Gate Bridge On Wednesday we headed out of San Francisco once more on an epic day trip to Yosemite National Park.  Yosemite Valley Tuesday took us to what became some of our favourite attractions in the city - Alcatraz and the Exploratorium. We also checked out the Aquarium of the Bay and Fisherman's Wharf during the day, and wandered through Chinatown in the evening.
