At midday on Saturday we saw the film Heartbeat at the LSPU Hall, which was written and directed by Andrea Dorfman. The film is set in Halifax, and follows a girl in her late 20’s/30’s at a critical time in her life - debating her career choice right after a break up. The little animations intertwined in the movie added another level of uniqueness.

Following the screening, we stopped by International Flavours for lunch. It’s a small Indian and Pakistani restaurant that has been around in various forms since 1996, but it was our first time eating there.
