On Saturday, we spent the afternoon taking the long way out to Bay Roberts, learning about the history of Elizabeth's family in the process.

On Thursday night, we filled our bellies (and livers) at the 8th annual Savour Food and Wine Show at the Delta Hotel!  At the entrance to the Savour Food and Wine Show Last week St. John's played host to East Coast Music Week - "a five-day, non-stop musical celebration showcasing and recognizing the best of East Coast artists and music". So naturally, we had to check it out!  A massive issue at the airport prevented us from going on our much anticipated trip to Mexico and left us wondering what to do this weekend. In the end, we packed up our bags and drove a couple of hours to Swift Current for a relaxing getaway.  View from our cabin |
