To kick-off the holiday season, we went to Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday night to witness the Cavalcade of Lights!

Last weekend Luke was a bit under the weather, so we opted for a fairly low key Something Saturday where we could just sit down in a dark room and listen to people talking, at the Hot Docs Podcast Festival.  Hot Docs podcast festival. On Saturday night, we headed out to an event with no idea what to expect. That event was "Generator Toronto", and we were incredibly glad we went!  The whole group This weekend the Art Gallery of Ontario was free to all ROM members - like us! - so we headed down to check out their latest exhibition, Mystical Landscapes. While it cost us a bit extra, it featured work by Gaugin, Monet, Van Gogh, Georgia O'Keefe and the Group of Seven so it was well worth the price of admission.
