We spent this past (long) weekend with some friends on the West Coast of Newfoundland, soaking up some sun and checking out a few sights!  Woody Point in Gros Morne This spring, the Canadian Wildlife Federation put off a campaign, entitled Walk for Wildlife, encouraging Canadians to explore and learn about the wildlife in their area. The Portugal Cove-St Philips Walking & Hiking Club held a Walk for Wildlife last Saturday which was all about frogs, so we joined in!  Blast Hole Pond This past Saturday we attended a Wilderness Survival course and learned quite a few new skills! But knowing what we know now, we're not interested in surviving in the wild anytime soon, if we have anything to say about it.  Posing with our shelter |
