This weekend we continued to make the most of the summer out at Elizabeth’s family’s cabin, but not before a mini road-trip down to Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve!

Saturday was Elizabeth’s birthday, so we celebrated by spending the weekend with friends and family at the cabin on Ocean Pond. Amidst the water skiing, sun bathing, board games, and cocktail drinking, we also managed a short trip to the nearby Rodrigues Winery and Distillery.  Rodrigues Wines This weekend was an eventful one as we flew up to the Northern Peninsula to visit the town of St. Anthony, and the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of L'Anse aux Meadows!  This weekend we headed out to Central Newfoundland, for the second time this summer, to attend the annual Micmac Powwow at Conne River!  |
