Amidst a weekend full of curling, we managed to squeeze in an afternoon of wandering around downtown which included finally eating at Sun Sushi!

Last Saturday we saw a Sled Wars, a Freestyle Snocross and Powersports Expo at Eastbound Park, featuring some of the top Snocrossers in the world!  On Wednesday we attended an informative community event as part of the Irish Newfoundland Association’s Annual Irish Week!  This past Saturday, we put on cross-country skis and learned how to skate ski. Don’t really understand the difference between skate skiing and classical skiing? Neither did we!  On Wednesday evening, we dropped in on a cooking class and learned how to make some Indian dishes which we tested out on Saturday!  Butter Chicken and Tandoori Squash... Mmmm |
