Our last stop in Australia was the city of Sydney! We spent 5 days exploring the area, checking out beaches, trying our hand at surfing, ferrying around the harbour, climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge, and mostly just eating lots of good food.

Last Saturday during the heat wave we headed out to Tommy Thompson Park, 'Toronto's Urban Wilderness', for an afternoon of exploring and admiring the views.
Last Saturday, Elizabeth was supposed to be participating in a work golf tournament so when the tournament was cancelled due to rainfall from the day before, we knew we wanted to spend our day exploring instead. So, after a bit of Googling, Moore Park Ravine it was!
This past weekend was a long one in Ontario so we wanted to get out of the city, and what better way than to escape to the Toronto Islands!
This weekend Luke turned 30, and Elizabeth had made some surprise plans to celebrate, treating Luke to a stay at the Old Mill Inn in the West of Toronto.
Over the Labour Day weekend, we were back in Newfoundland for our second Newfoundland Wedding Weekend of the summer! This time, we stayed on the Avalon Peninsula and, other than wedding festivities, mostly hung out at the cabin in Ocean Pond where Luke had his first Newfoundland blueberry picking experience.
After a couple of fun days in Hong Kong, we set off for our next Asian city, Taipei! Although it rained on us almost every day and we had a few mishaps along the way, it's home to some of the friendliest people, and this city definitely has a special place in our hearts.
We had a very active final few days of our trip to Curaçao - climbing mountings, snorkelling on shipwrecks and descending into caves. In between, however, we did find plenty of time to kick back and relax.
This Saturday we decided to tackle a section of the East Coast Trail with Elizabeth’s parents. Between the dramatic scenery, evidence of nearby moose and an unexpected trek through a marsh, it turned into quite the weekend adventure!
This weekend was an eventful one as we flew up to the Northern Peninsula to visit the town of St. Anthony, and the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of L'Anse aux Meadows!
