On Saturday night, we headed out to an event with no idea what to expect. That event was "Generator Toronto", and we were incredibly glad we went!
Toronto seems to have an endless stream of free festivals running throughout the year. This weekend was the Jazz Festival Streetfest, so we headed back out to the Beaches neighbourhood to check it out.
Our Something Saturday was a little early this week because Luke was out of town over the weekend, checking out the Formula 1 festivities in Montreal with some of his friends from university. So on Wednesday, we headed out to check out a night of the Lulaworld music festival!
For our first weekend of summer in Toronto, we headed down to Echo Beach to catch the CBC Music Festival. Beautiful weather, tasty food and great bands made for a pretty great Saturday.
This Saturday we headed down to Sugar Beach on the waterfront to check out a cabane à sucre, and enjoy some nice weather and Québécois music!
For the second half of our Christmas in Newfoundland, we continued to play games, visit friends and family, and also took in some live Newfoundland music!
This weekend we headed out to Central Newfoundland, for the second time this summer, to attend the annual Micmac Powwow at Conne River!
We delayed our Something Saturday this week until Monday so that we could attend Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield’s talk with Elizabeth's family!
This Sunday we embraced the spirit of Halloween and went to see the Addams Family Musical. Good tunes and a very talented cast made for a fun time.
