This past weekend was full of Halloween celebrations, but we also managed to take in one great film from the St. John's International Women's Film Festival.

On Friday afternoon we were trying to figure out what to do for our Something Saturday, and then we found out about Spirit Song: A "fundraising gala showcasing aboriginal talent such as drummers, singers, dancers and throat singers". We were immediately intrigued.  We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Halifax visiting Elizabeth's sister, Rebecca! And in true Something Saturday fashion, we saw a variety of things and tried to take in as much as we could during our 3 days there (including: riding Segways).  Halifax Public Gardens On Saturday, we made our way downtown to check out the Christina Parker Art Gallery and taste some vegetarian/vegan cuisine at the Happy Hummus Hut!
