And if you're curious about how Luke's watercolour class is going, here's a monochromatic of two eggs:
On Saturday, we made our way downtown to check out the Christina Parker Art Gallery and taste some vegetarian/vegan cuisine at the Happy Hummus Hut! A few weeks ago, Luke starting taking a watercolour art class from the Anna Templeton Centre. As it turns out, his instructor currently has an exhibit at the Christina Parker gallery, so we went to check it out. We were really impressed by the wide range of artwork there, and a few of our favourites were done by John Hartman, Ron Bolt, Clem Curtis, Scott Goudie, and Tom Hammick. If you're interested, you can check out some of their stuff online in the Christina Parker Gallery's artist section. The images don't do the works justice, but they're interesting to see none-the-less. And if you're curious about how Luke's watercolour class is going, here's a monochromatic of two eggs: After the gallery, we made our way up to the Happy Hummus Hut for lunch. We've been interested in checking it out for a while because we're looking to opt for vegetarian choices more often. We ended up getting the falafel rice rolls, sweet potato fries, and the jamesadilla (quesadilla). They were all very tasty and we didn't miss the meat at all! After getting groceries, we decided to continue our veggie ways and we made an 8 layer dip for a BBQ in the evening! And that wraps up our Something Saturday!
