This weekend Andy was in town, so, with Toronto gone sports mad with playoffs in full swing and the start of the baseball season, we decided to hit up our first ever Toronto FC game as they took on Chicago Fire!

This past weekend we headed back to Newfoundland, amid storms and freezing rain, to visit Elizabeth's family and go cheer on Team Gushue at The Brier, Canada's ultimate curling tournament.
This weekend we dug our skates out of the closet and set off for Nathan Phillips Square to take advantage of the free outdoor skating rink. But not before filling up with some tasty Canadian comfort food...

This last week Luke’s sister Sophie was in town, so we ended up doing lots of new and cool stuff around Toronto. Here are a few of the highlights!
Last weekend we spent a substantial amount of time at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, watching the Grand Slam of Curling Players’ Championship! To round out our busy weekend, we also wandered around the nearby Allan Gardens and stopped into The Second City for a lot of laughs.
On Saturday, we hopped on a bus and headed straight for the slopes of Blue Mountain for a day of skiing, eating, and napping!
We had a very active final few days of our trip to Curaçao - climbing mountings, snorkelling on shipwrecks and descending into caves. In between, however, we did find plenty of time to kick back and relax.
This past weekend was a long weekend in Ontario and we spent some time relaxing, but also did some fun things like go to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night!
We're spending our Christmas holidays in Newfoundland this year! Between the family hangouts, insane amounts of delicious food and drink, and watching movies on the VCR, we managed to learn some new board games!
