This Sunday, between packing up our apartment and trying to sell off half of our furniture, we found a little time to step outside and take part in the annual Rennie’s River Rubber Duck Race.

This week we were joined by Elizabeth’s sister, Rebecca, for a morning of learning how to Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) at Rotary Sunshine Park!  On Saturday we headed out to the Atlantic Ocean on a sea kayaking adventure. Puffins, eagles, sea caves and more made for a very cool Something Saturday!  Kayaking selfie. On Saturday evening we headed to Eastbound International Speedway for the ECC 125 Car Racing event!  Stock car zooming at Eastbound Speedway. Amidst an action packed weekend in Ocean Pond, we made a short trip out for a stroll along the beach in Bellevue!  This weekend we braved the drizzle and fog with a few friends for a round of Foot Golf at Clovelly Golf Course!  Amidst a weekend full of curling, we managed to squeeze in an afternoon of wandering around downtown which included finally eating at Sun Sushi!  Last Saturday we saw a Sled Wars, a Freestyle Snocross and Powersports Expo at Eastbound Park, featuring some of the top Snocrossers in the world!  This past Saturday we joined in the Rogers Hometown Hockey Festivities at Quidi Vidi and went for a winter’s stroll around the Lake.  This Saturday we headed out of town to White Hills Ski Resort to make the most of some fresh snowfall, as Elizabeth took to the slopes for the very first time.
