On Wednesday we attended an informative community event as part of the Irish Newfoundland Association’s Annual Irish Week!

On Sunday we attended our first ever "Artist Talk” and then took some time to wander around The Rooms to check out some other new exhibits!
On our free Wednesday in London, we decided to make our way to Greenwich and ended up spending the entire day checking out the sights there! We then spent our last few days in London relaxing and checking out a few more exhibits.
We spent the past weekend in the Cotswolds and area, learning about Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon and exploring charming English villages in the countryside!
After arriving in London on Saturday and spending a couple of days there, we headed to Bath and then explored a bit of Bristol on Monday!
On Thursday we checked out the Asian Art Museum, got a feel for more of the city by taking a Hop-on Hop-off tour, and found the best place to see the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!
Tuesday took us to what became some of our favourite attractions in the city - Alcatraz and the Exploratorium. We also checked out the Aquarium of the Bay and Fisherman's Wharf during the day, and wandered through Chinatown in the evening.
This past Saturday, we took advantage of the Doors Open Days by visiting the Supreme Court and the Masonic Temple!
We spent this past weekend showing our friends from Vancouver around St. John’s, and we tried out something new that we thoroughly enjoyed – the Downtown Foodie Tour!
After our initial plans for this weekend were disrupted by post-tropical storm Bertha, we ended up taking a day trip to Winterton to learn all about wooden boats, how they're made, and the significant role they play in Newfoundland history.
