What was initially planned as a fairly chilled out final day in San Francisco turned out to be a surprisingly full one, as we travelled the city on a bit of a foodie adventure.
Friday in San Francisco began with a tour to Muir Woods, and ended in a Detective Agency. Needless to say, another full day!
On Thursday we checked out the Asian Art Museum, got a feel for more of the city by taking a Hop-on Hop-off tour, and found the best place to see the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!
On Wednesday we headed out of San Francisco once more on an epic day trip to Yosemite National Park.
Tuesday took us to what became some of our favourite attractions in the city - Alcatraz and the Exploratorium. We also checked out the Aquarium of the Bay and Fisherman's Wharf during the day, and wandered through Chinatown in the evening.
On our second full day in San Francisco, we headed out of town to wine country: Sonoma and Napa Valley.
Spending just over a week in San Francisco last week, we checked out many of the sites in and out of the city! During our first couple of days there, we took our time wandering around a few neighbourhoods, and saw some of the sights in Golden Gate Park.
Last weekend was a long weekend in Newfoundland (and most parts of Canada), so we went to New York City with Elizabeth's parents!
