Here are some more of our favourite pictures. Between the five of us, we took a lot of photos, so we cut them down in a big way. Enjoy!
Our bigger "Something" this weekend was a hike from Cape Spear to Maddox Cove that we completed yesterday with Elizabeth's family! It was the 2nd Annual Mother's Day Hike and most family members were in attendance ( - Peter + Luke). We started at Cape Spear (the most Easterly point in North America), which was very foggy AND windy. A combination that seems to happen in Newfoundland more often than you'd think. The trail took about 4.5 hours, but that included some snack breaks, a detour around North Head, as well as a delay near the end of the trail. It's right along the coastline, but the view is always different and the trail seems to go through different types of scenery and geology. And this is just about the most epic picture ever. Luke needs to make an action adventure film so that this can be the poster. Near the end of the hike, the fog cleared and it turned out to be a bright, sunny day. We also ended up running into a girl who had fallen down and hit her head, but Elizabeth's mom went into nurse mode, assessed her, and stayed until the paramedics came. In the end, she seemed to be okay. Here are some more of our favourite pictures. Between the five of us, we took a lot of photos, so we cut them down in a big way. Enjoy!
