We spent Canadian Thanksgiving weekend in the United States without turkey dinner, so not our typical Thanksgiving! Despite that, we had lots of fun exploring Chicago and enjoying the warm weather

Last weekend we hopped on the train and went to Montreal to visit Peter and Emily during the end of their summer in the city!
It was the May 24th long weekend this past weekend, so, on Friday evening after work we hopped on plane and made our way out East to visit Rebecca, Andy and Floyd in Saint John, New Brunswick!
This weekend we headed south, across the border and down to sunny St. Louis, Missouri for Elizabeth’s cousin Alex’s wedding to his American fiance… Alex. Although brief, our visit was full of fun times with the family and a spot of top notch tourism.
During the second half of our trip back to the UK for Christmas, we headed up to London for a couple of days to catch up with some of Luke's friends. Of course, before heading back to Bath again for New Year's Eve, we were sure to find one new thing to do in London (it isn't hard).
Lately, it seems as if our weekends have been more outside of Toronto than in, and we continued that trend this past weekend by visiting Peter and Emily in Montreal! Elizabeth lived in Montreal for eight months and this was Luke’s third weekend trip to Montreal so we didn’t feel the need to see all of the top tourist attractions but, in saying that, we still managed to do quite a lot without really intending to.
After a couple of fun days in Hong Kong, we set off for our next Asian city, Taipei! Although it rained on us almost every day and we had a few mishaps along the way, it's home to some of the friendliest people, and this city definitely has a special place in our hearts.
Our long weekend in Dublin continued with lots of strolling around the city and ended with a day trip to the amazing archaeological sites of Tara and Newgrange!
We extended our May 2-4 long weekend by one day and managed to squeeze in a trip to Dublin! We spent the weekend exploring the city and seeing lots of sights with Luke's mom (aka "Mum") and sister, before heading out to the countryside for a day trip on our last day.
On Thursday we checked out the Asian Art Museum, got a feel for more of the city by taking a Hop-on Hop-off tour, and found the best place to see the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!
