On Saturday morning, we picked up snowshoes (and Maebe) from Elizabeth’s parents and headed out for a snowshoeing adventure on the trails around Windsor Lake!
This past weekend we spent some time learning about ice fishing, as well as practicing the traditional Newfoundland craft of making pillow tops.

This Saturday we headed out of town to White Hills Ski Resort to make the most of some fresh snowfall, as Elizabeth took to the slopes for the very first time.
On Sunday, we went to Ocean Quest in CBS and got underwater photos taken with Santa Claus! Luke is familiar with SCUBA equipment so he enjoyed his time sitting on Santa’s knee, but for Elizabeth, it was quite the (slightly traumatic) experience.
Luke's friend, Jon, came to visit St. John's during our first substantial snow of the year! On Saturday night we escaped the weather and had a fancy dinner at Bacalao, Nouvelle Newfoundland Cuisine.
