On Wednesday evening, we dropped in on a cooking class and learned how to make some Indian dishes which we tested out on Saturday!

On Sunday we attended our first ever "Artist Talk” and then took some time to wander around The Rooms to check out some other new exhibits!
On Sunday we made Luke’s childhood Christmas dreams come true by putting together and decorating a gingerbread house! We were also hoping to participate in the Mummer’s Parade again this year, but Elizabeth was busy with other activities on Saturday.
Luke's friend, Jon, came to visit St. John's during our first substantial snow of the year! On Saturday night we escaped the weather and had a fancy dinner at Bacalao, Nouvelle Newfoundland Cuisine.
Last Saturday we attended a film screening as part of the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, and then had a mid-afternoon meal at International Flavours!
What was initially planned as a fairly chilled out final day in San Francisco turned out to be a surprisingly full one, as we travelled the city on a bit of a foodie adventure.
On our second full day in San Francisco, we headed out of town to wine country: Sonoma and Napa Valley.
On Sunday we ventured out to Pouch Cove to check out the Open Studios event, as well as relax at a new tea room overlooking the ocean!
We spent this past weekend showing our friends from Vancouver around St. John’s, and we tried out something new that we thoroughly enjoyed – the Downtown Foodie Tour!
On Saturday we checked out the Afghan Restaurant downtown before going to a concert that was part of the St. John's International Sound Symposium!
