On Thursday night, we filled our bellies (and livers) at the 8th annual Savour Food and Wine Show at the Delta Hotel!

Last week St. John's played host to East Coast Music Week - "a five-day, non-stop musical celebration showcasing and recognizing the best of East Coast artists and music". So naturally, we had to check it out!
Amidst a weekend full of curling, we managed to squeeze in an afternoon of wandering around downtown which included finally eating at Sun Sushi!
On Wednesday we attended an informative community event as part of the Irish Newfoundland Association’s Annual Irish Week!
On Wednesday evening, we dropped in on a cooking class and learned how to make some Indian dishes which we tested out on Saturday!
This past weekend we spent some time learning about ice fishing, as well as practicing the traditional Newfoundland craft of making pillow tops.
This past Saturday we joined in the Rogers Hometown Hockey Festivities at Quidi Vidi and went for a winter’s stroll around the Lake.
On Sunday we attended our first ever "Artist Talk” and then took some time to wander around The Rooms to check out some other new exhibits!
Luke's friend, Jon, came to visit St. John's during our first substantial snow of the year! On Saturday night we escaped the weather and had a fancy dinner at Bacalao, Nouvelle Newfoundland Cuisine.
