This weekend our buddy Aaron was in town, for one night only, so we made the most of a sunny Saturday by checking out the Dundas West Fest street festival.

On Sunday we strolled through Queen's Park and visited the Ontario Legislative Building as part of Doors Open Toronto!  It was the May 24th long weekend this past weekend, so, on Friday evening after work we hopped on plane and made our way out East to visit Rebecca, Andy and Floyd in Saint John, New Brunswick!  Last weekend, Luke’s sister Sophie stopped by on her way back from Chicago, so we spent a couple of days showing her some cool places we’d been before as well as visiting a new (actually, quite old) historic site – Fort York!  Fort York, in the middle of downtown Toronto This weekend we set off back to the AGO to check out their latest exhibition - a retrospective of the art and legacy of Georgia O'Keeffe.  This weekend Andy was in town, so, with Toronto gone sports mad with playoffs in full swing and the start of the baseball season, we decided to hit up our first ever Toronto FC game as they took on Chicago Fire!  BMO Field. After a weekend in St. Louis, we enjoyed a long weekend back in Toronto watching curling as well as eating (and walking) our way around downtown!  This weekend we headed south, across the border and down to sunny St. Louis, Missouri for Elizabeth’s cousin Alex’s wedding to his American fiance… Alex. Although brief, our visit was full of fun times with the family and a spot of top notch tourism.  'Merica. This past Saturday we decided to do a sort-of Subway Saturday slightly off the subway line and visited the neighbourhood of The Junction in the west of Toronto.  |
