This weekend Elizabeth’s brother Peter, and his girlfriend, Emily, came all the way from Montréal to hang out with us on our long weekend, so we ended up trying out lots of new things! First stop, the Ontario Science Centre.
On Saturday, we learned about ceramics from many different cultures, that were created throughout many different time periods, at the Gardiner Museum!
This Saturday we headed down to Sugar Beach on the waterfront to check out a cabane à sucre, and enjoy some nice weather and Québécois music!

But, first: the capital city of Willemstad.
Our brand new ROM membership gave us free access to the Textile Museum of Canada this weekend, so we dropped by to learn about this unique museum and ended up joining in on a quick tour!
Since Elizabeth was busy all weekend - curling and flying back to Newfoundland - we decided on a mid-week outing to the Art Gallery of Ontario!
Mulled wine, chilly temperatures, and the Toronto Christmas Market definitely put us in the (slightly premature) Christmas spirit this weekend!
In an effort to explore a new neighbourhood in the city and find some good places to eat, this Saturday we decided to go on a culinary tour of the Danforth! Much tasty food was had.
