We had another busy weekend with Elizabeth's family, scavenging for clues around U of T after dark and exploring the beauty that is High Park!

This weekend the weather was great, so we made the most of it and headed down to the Beaches for a stroll in the sun, hitting up Woodbine Beach and Glen Stewart Ravine.  Woodbine Beach This weekend, between a birthday party in the park, and some evening drinks with friends, we managed to head over to Queen Street East for the Riverside Eats and Beats Streetfest to check out some local art at the annual Riverdale Art Walk.  After a couple of fun days in Hong Kong, we set off for our next Asian city, Taipei! Although it rained on us almost every day and we had a few mishaps along the way, it's home to some of the friendliest people, and this city definitely has a special place in our hearts.  View from Taipei 101 Starting in mid-May we embarked on an epic 12 day trip to three East Asian cities - Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our first stop was Hong Kong and although we only had 1.5 days actually in the city, we made the most of it with some delicious food and unbelievable views!  Hong Kong Last weekend we spent a substantial amount of time at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, watching the Grand Slam of Curling Players’ Championship! To round out our busy weekend, we also wandered around the nearby Allan Gardens and stopped into The Second City for a lot of laughs.  During the Women's Final On Saturday, we hopped on a bus and headed straight for the slopes of Blue Mountain for a day of skiing, eating, and napping!  Blue Mountain We had a very active final few days of our trip to Curaçao - climbing mountings, snorkelling on shipwrecks and descending into caves. In between, however, we did find plenty of time to kick back and relax.  The view from Christoffel Mountain.
On Wednesday we left our Airbnb in Willemstad, picked up a rental car at the airport and headed to the North-West tip of Curaçao to spend the remaining part of our trip exploring Sabana Westpunt and the surrounding area!

This past Saturday we set off on a winter adventure, escaping the city for a day of dog sledding, snow shoeing, and hanging out with puppies!  Elizabeth in her element. |
