Last Sunday we took it easy and headed to the Princess of Wales Theatre, with Aunt VIcki, for a matinee performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
Elizabeth was otherwise occupied on Saturday, getting shot at with paint by her colleagues, so we enjoyed our Something Saturday on Sunday instead, heading downtown to check out this year's World Press Photo exhibit.
This last weekend we were out of town again celebrating our friend Alysha's birthday up in cottage country. While there we took a little trip to some nearby caves.
We spent Canadian Thanksgiving weekend in the United States without turkey dinner, so not our typical Thanksgiving! Despite that, we had lots of fun exploring Chicago and enjoying the warm weather
As the weather finally starts to turn a bit Autumnal, we decided to go on another nature walk within the city limits. We headed back out to Old Mill, where we had celebrated Luke's 30th in the winter, for a slightly warmer walk along the Humber River on the historic Shared Path.
Last Saturday during the heat wave we headed out to Tommy Thompson Park, 'Toronto's Urban Wilderness', for an afternoon of exploring and admiring the views.
After a week away in the UK we decided to ease ourselves back into Toronto life with another Subway Saturday. This time we set out west on Bloor Street to Ossington Station for a spot of leisurely wandering in the sun.
We were in the UK this past week and during this trip we wanted to explore more of the are so we headed off for an adventure in Cornwall - taking in the beaches, seaside towns, and, of course, some pasties!
This weekend we continued to celebrate Elizabeth's birthday with a day trip down to the Stratford Festival courtesy of Aunt Vicki (our chauffeur, chef and ticket purchaser for the day).
Last weekend we hopped on the train and went to Montreal to visit Peter and Emily during the end of their summer in the city!
