This past Saturday we braved the cold and headed out to learn the basics of archery at Battle Sports Inc!
During the second half of our trip back to the UK for Christmas, we headed up to London for a couple of days to catch up with some of Luke's friends. Of course, before heading back to Bath again for New Year's Eve, we were sure to find one new thing to do in London (it isn't hard).
This year we spent our Christmas holidays in the UK with Luke's family and friends. It was 10 days of fun, festivities, food and - of course - we explored a few new places!
This weekend Luke turned 30, and Elizabeth had made some surprise plans to celebrate, treating Luke to a stay at the Old Mill Inn in the West of Toronto.
With the snow falling and winter seemingly in full swing, we ventured to Evergreen Brick Works to explore their Winter Village.
After a party on Friday and a full day of curling on Saturday we opted for a slightly less active Sunday activity, popping down to the Great Hall on Queen Street West for the Toronto Bakers Market.
To kick-off the holiday season, we went to Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday night to witness the Cavalcade of Lights!
Last weekend Luke was a bit under the weather, so we opted for a fairly low key Something Saturday where we could just sit down in a dark room and listen to people talking, at the Hot Docs Podcast Festival.
On Saturday night, we headed out to an event with no idea what to expect. That event was "Generator Toronto", and we were incredibly glad we went!
